Gridiron Classic and the Fright of My Life

Tonight we went to the football scrimmage, the Gridiron Classic at Tulsa Union's football stadium. I every year I sit on the chairs down front because nobody ever sits there during this event. This is the third year in a row we sat there.

But tonight moments after I took this picture my son Christopher (right) sat down and the platform and rolled through the gap in the rail, falling almost 6 feet onto the AstroTurf.

I looked down afraid and saw he had fallen on his side. I quickly jumped down to get him. Fortunately he was shaken, but not hurt. He cried a while. But he was okay. I'm very glad he was fine, but I felt horrible about it. I made sure I told him that this was the reason I wanted him to sit in the chairs and not run around. I hope he learns!
